Picture of the Day 79

This is the very famous Torii on Miyajima island, you probably have seen it on some pictures I uploaded before, here is another angle. This is actually one of the first pictures I took in Japan!

So its finally time so solve the mystery what I ate on Picture of the Day 76, and of course  to announce the winner! Helvi was kind of right, congratulations! What I ate goes by the name Shirako (白子) and is actually fish genitalia containing the seminal fluid. Well I was told japanese eat it for the texture …. well I tried it, but I would never ever order it for myself. (By the way don’t judge me for what I do, here everything is different :P)
