Picture of the Day 14

Todays Picture of the Day is the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima City. It shows the architectural remains of one of the few buildings, that were not completely annihilated by the atomic bomb. Since the dropping of the bomb it has been conserved in this condition. The atomic bomb done is located near a river in the peace memorial park in downtown Hiroshima. The peace memorial museum is also located nearby and is definitely worth a visit.
