Picture of the Day 41

One of the many things that always amazes me about Japan is the fusion of completely different things. This picture was taken at Shukkeien garden in Hiroshima city. It is located directly in Hiroshima and is a very peaceful place. From there you can also see some skyscrapers and it still does not look strange, at least I think so. Its the same with temples and shrines you can find within the city just between houses and skyscrapers and they still manage to fit in somehow to create a more peaceful atmosphere.
