Picture of the Day 50

Wow its already Picture of the Day number 50, I’m kind of proud I made it this far! Todays picture of the day is Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima island. It’s a UNESCO world heritage site and my favorite place! Years ago I just new it from pictures and I always wanted to come here, before I even know where it was. When I first came to Japan I found out the place was just a 10 minute ferry ride away from Backpacks Miyajima, the place where I often go to and also was the first time in Japan! Must have been fate …. Enjoy!
